Green Tomato Ketchup

Makes approx 1.5l (maybe a bit less if you reduce it more)
Ingredients
- 1.8Kg Green Tomatoes
- 2 Apples
- 2 Medium Onions
- 250g Sugar
- 1.5 tsp Pickling Spice
- 1 large Red Chilli (stalk removed)
- 2 tsp Salt
- 350ml White Wine Vinegar
Method
- Peel and roughly chop onion & apple (remove core)
- Stick everything in food processor until finely chopped
- Bring to boil and simmer for 1 – 1.5 hours
- Food process again
- Pass through sieve
- Reduce to desired consistency
- Bottle into sterilised bottles
- Enjoy!
