Tasty treats for the office brought in by co-worker after trip to Japan…

Makes approx 1.5l (maybe a bit less if you reduce it more)

Ingredients

• 1.8Kg Green Tomatoes
• 2 Apples
• 2 Medium Onions
• 250g Sugar
• 1.5 tsp Pickling Spice
• 1 large Red Chilli (stalk removed)
• 2 tsp Salt
• 350ml White Wine Vinegar

Method

1. Peel and roughly chop onion & apple (remove core)
2. Stick everything in food processor until finely chopped
3. Bring to boil and simmer for 1 – 1.5 hours
4. Food process again
5. Pass through sieve
6. Reduce to desired consistency
7. Bottle into sterilised bottles
8. Enjoy!

Got back after night out in Doncaster and decided to take some pictures.

Lots of rubbish (possibly due to the amount of beer consumed while out) but this one appears to have come out alright.
